Our Kitchen Design Process
We do not offer a one size fits all process, as we understand that every kitchen is unique. Typically, we work closely with you to create your dream kitchen design. Our personal process begins with discussing your preferences and needs to define the style for your kitchen along with practical considerations. Moving on, we like to visit your home to take detailed measurements. This also provides a valuable opportunity to see firsthand how you use your current kitchen and understand how we can improve the design to fit your needs and lifestyle. Finally, we create digital renderings of your new kitchen, allowing you to see it in life-like detail. After this we will work together to refine your kitchen design, before signing off and ordering.
We endeavour to make the kitchen design process stress free and enjoyable. Which is why we offer home visits to measure your space (reducing the risk of mistakes) as well as full and consistent communication throughout the entire process. Visit our showroom in Midhurst, where you can see fully installed kitchen displays, view samples of doors, an abundance of colours and finishes, and explore numerous stone worktop and splashback options. Feel free to ask about samples of other materials such as solid wood worktops and Amtico luxury vinyl flooring; two stone effect styles are fitted at the showroom for you to view.
We believe that successful kitchen design starts with a deep understanding of your space and lifestyle. That’s why we encourage home visits, to take precise measurements, as well as seeing how you currently utilise your space. If you prefer, we also offer remote consultations via video call, making it easier than ever to plan your dream kitchen from the comfort of your own home, no matter where you’re located.

Our Design Process in Detail
1. Research and discovery
The process starts with an in-depth consultation where we learn about your needs, what you like and dislike about your current kitchen, and your vision for your new kitchen design. We want to understand how you use your kitchen and functional elements that are most important to you. This helps us to ensure your kitchen will be beautiful and practical.
2. Defining your style
After understanding your wants and needs, we will explore different kitchen design styles, colours, and materials. Whether you long for a contemporary kitchen or a classic design, we will present you with an abundance of options for cabinets, colours, handles, and complimentary finishing touches like splashbacks and appliances. We’ll ensure your new kitchen reflects your personal taste and compliments the style of your home.
3. Precise measurements
Accurate measurements are key to creating a good kitchen design. We offer two options to get the necessary dimensions:
- We will visit your home directly: Our expert team will visit your home to take detailed measurements, ensuring everything fits perfectly.
- If your kitchen is part of a house extension or renovation and the space is yet to be built, we can also work from architects’ plans.
4. Designing your perfect kitchen
Once we have gathered all the information, we begin working on your kitchen layout using our advanced 3D design tools. We create detailed floor plans, list the components, and produce high quality, 3D digital renderings of your new custom kitchen. This allows you to see how your kitchen will look in photographic detail before you decide. During this stage you can also experiment with different worktop materials, handles, door colours, and we can also make fine adjustments the layout.
5. Proposed design
After completing the design, we will present a PDF proposal with renderings of your kitchen. You’ll have a clear image of the proposed layout, materials, and design elements. This is your opportunity to review everything and make sure it meets your exact requirements.
6. Review and refinement
Once you’ve reviewed your design, we’ll arrange a follow up design review at our Midhurst showroom. The purpose of this consultation is to discuss any changes to the design, materials, colours, or layout. We want to make sure that every detail is perfect before moving forward with your dream kitchen.
7. Sign-off and ordering
Once you’re completely happy and have signed off the design proposal, your custom kitchen will then be manufactured to order, typically ready for delivery in 4-6 weeks, with a slightly longer lead time (6-8 weeks) for paint-to-order and special colours.
